This policy sets out what the ConcreteAdditives.net forms collect, where each request goes, how long it is kept and how to have it corrected or deleted. Reading any page needs no account, no sign-in and no form, so the reference on concrete additives is free to read without sending anything.
ConcreteAdditives.net is an independent, vendor-neutral reference that sells no product. Its pages are compiled from named primary sources such as ASTM, CEN, BIS, ACI, ECHA and peer-reviewed literature. A reader who wants a quote or a provider can use a form, and this policy explains what that form does with the data.
In short, three forms collect data. Supplier quote requests and provider match requests go to independent companies, and contact messages stay with the editorial team. Form data is kept for 24 months, and any submission can be deleted earlier on request by email.
Each value is traced to its source: standards and codes to their issuing body, product values to the data sheet named with them, prices to the dated source beside them (methodology and fact-checking).
Which Forms on ConcreteAdditives.net Collect Personal Data?#
ConcreteAdditives.net stores only what a reader types into one of its three forms, together with the page the form was sent from and the time it was sent. The site holds no account and no payment data. The page you send a form from is stored so the editorial team can see which page prompted the request. The specification-review block on standards pages opens the provider match form, so it is not a fourth form.
The table compares the three forms by the fields they collect, what is stored with them and whether the data leaves the editorial team.
| Form | Fields you enter | Stored with it | Purpose | Leaves the editorial team? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Request quotes from concrete admixture suppliers (also embedded as a block on additive, substance, standard and comparison pages) | additive type (ASTM C494 type, SCM class, fiber type and length, pigment color); standard required; quantity and packaging (IBC, drum, bulk tanker, big bag); delivery country; plant type (ready-mix, precast, contractor, distributor); email; company; optional use and dose, delivery region, documents, role and phone | source page, time | quotes from independent suppliers | yes, to independent suppliers |
| Find a concrete mix design, testing or specialty placement provider (also opened by the specification-review block on standards pages) | service needed (mix design and trial batching, testing, specialty placement); the request details you type; country; timing; email; optional volume, region and company | source page, time | match with independent providers | yes, to independent providers |
| Contact form or editorial@concreteadditives.net | email; name (optional); topic; page; message | source page, time | answer a question, check a correction | no |
What the forms do not collect#
The forms ask for no postal address, no date of birth, no identity document and no payment detail, and they accept no file upload. A request needs only the fields marked as required; every other field is optional and can be left empty. Readers who prefer not to use a form can write to editorial@concreteadditives.net instead, and the same retention and deletion rules apply to that email.
What Is Each Request Used For?#
Each form has one purpose: quote requests go to independent suppliers, match requests go to independent providers, and contact messages are read by the editorial team. Data sent through a form is used for that purpose and for nothing else. The purposes in detail:
- Supplier quote request: passed to independent suppliers of the additive named in it.
- Provider match request: passed to independent providers of the service chosen in it.
- Contact message: read by the editorial team to answer a question or check a correction.
Where Do Supplier Quote and Provider Match Requests Go?#
A supplier quote request is passed to independent suppliers of the additive named in it, and a provider match request is passed to independent providers of mix design, testing or specialty placement; no other form leaves the editorial team. No company is named as a receiver on this site, so the receivers are the independent suppliers and providers that fit the request you describe. A quote request about a fiber or a pigment, for example, goes to suppliers of that product type and not to every supplier, and a provider match request goes only to providers of the service you chose. Both forms ask for an email address because that is how a receiver replies to you.
Independent suppliers and providers receive requests; none pays to appear here (editorial policy).
Which submissions stay with the editorial team?#
Contact messages stay with the editorial team. They are not passed to suppliers or providers. A correction sent through the contact form is used only to check and fix the page named in it.
Cookies, Analytics and Display Ads on ConcreteAdditives.net#
ConcreteAdditives.net runs no analytics service, and its own pages and forms set no tracking cookie. The site shows no display ads. When an ad or measurement service is added, this page is updated before it takes effect, so a reader can see what changes before it happens. The forms do not depend on any advertising service.
How Long Is Submitted Data Retained?#
Supplier quote requests, provider match requests and contact messages are kept for 24 months. You can ask for earlier deletion of any submission at any time, using the steps in the access section of this page. Deletion removes the submission from the site's database, and a contact message that you ask to be deleted is removed in the same way.
How Is Submitted Data Secured?#
Submitted data is held in the site's own database and read only by the editorial team. The only processor is Cloudflare, which hosts the site, delivers its pages and operates the database that stores form submissions. Every page is served over HTTPS, so what you type travels encrypted between your browser and the site. The forms accept submissions only and never display stored data back, which means a submitted request cannot be viewed by anyone who later opens the same form. Error messages from the forms are generic and do not repeat what was submitted.
How to Access, Correct or Delete Your Data#
Email editorial@concreteadditives.net from the address you used and say whether you want to see, correct or delete what you sent. The same request can go through the contact form. The request can take three forms:
- See: ask for a copy of what you submitted.
- Correct: name the field and give the right value.
- Delete: ask for the submission to be removed before the 24 months end.
Name the form and roughly when you sent it, so the right submission can be found. Writing from the address you used lets the editorial team match the request to the submission.
Updates to This Privacy Policy#
Every change to this policy moves the date at the top of the page. A new form, a new kind of receiver or a new ad or measurement service is described here before it takes effect. The publisher behind the site is described on about ConcreteAdditives.net.
